My name is Chasen Novak, I’m a 5+ television and commercial production vet with experience from pre- through post-production. After just moving to New York, I’m looking to secure a job at a creative, dynamic, and fast-paced company where I can contribute on a holistic level.

I started my career as a set PA in Los Angeles for big-budget commercials, with a highlight of getting to work for Star Wars shoot. When I made my way to Chicago, I worked as an assistant editor and VFX artist for a number of boutique post-houses. There I honed my skills in data management, file storage, encoding and transcoding, working with agency partners, and turning out high level creative content on a quick timeline.

I’ve rounded out my job experience with a position as an AP for a food focused production house. There, I’ve been able to develop my skills researching and enterprising for a company, with a focus on bolstering the studio’s client list, corresponding with different agencies, and finance management. Plus, in my free time there, I get to work in the kitchen, recipe developing for shoots.
